Why does the channel keep stopping? (continued)
Many factors can effect the speed and smoothness of a video stream, including the time of day. If the broadcaster has only dedicated a small amount of bandwidth to a channel and you are connecting at a very busy time of day, the stream will be slow and you will experience more delays. Just like trying to catch a train at rush hour, you will experience delays as lots of people try to access the same service all at the same time.
The media player has frozen, what can I do?
It is very rare that the player will freeze entirely, and is usually due to users becoming impatient and clicking too quickly between channels.
Your CD-rom uses the media players you have installed on your computer (such as Windows Media Player, QuickTime Player etc) to play back the video streams, and so freezing problems may be experienced due to problems with these programs. Problems of this nature are completely beyond our control and should be reported to the creators of the media player in question.

At times some channels work really well then the next day they don’t work so well? Why is this?
It can depend on time of day, sometimes there are more people viewing.
It can also depend on your broadband connection and where you are in the cue of viewers.
You will find that many channels work well a lot of the time. We suggest you make a note in the "Favourite channel section" in the booklet of the times the certain channels work best.
Why are none of my channels are working at all?
This can occur when you have left your PC on overnight or for over 24 hours or a length of time. Log out and restart your computer, this should solve the problem.
My picture has moved to one side out of the player.
This can occur with certain streams and computers. We have found it occurs when the screen is maximized with the black background and occurs when there is a slight change in picture EG: When the adverts begin.
It does not occur when you watch it full screen or in the regular small player size.
To rectify it "Minimize" the screen and then "Maximize" again and it should correct the picture location and bring it back into the player.
If the picture is sharp enough to watch full screen then do this. If not watch it in the "Minimize" version.
